Mindful Waters was born from two unforgettable experiences. After visiting an art gallery in Ontario and seeing Claude Monet’s water lily paintings in person, I felt deeply inspired by their beauty, light, and peaceful atmosphere.
Soon afterward, I travelled to Northern Ontario and stayed beside a quiet lake covered with water lilies. It was a serene and beautiful place—one I will never forget. Spending time there brought me a profound sense of peace and inspired me to begin a new series of water lily paintings. This is how Mindful Waters came to life.
The painting captures the stillness of the lake, the gentle reflections of the sky, and the quiet beauty of water lilies floating across the surface. It invites the viewer to pause, breathe, and experience a moment of calm.
